~ Fun with Grandma ~

While Grandma Aleen was visiting we spent a chilly, yet very fun day at the zoo.

Isaac's favorite part was seeing the Monkeys .

Emma loved the Polar bear that swims around and around the same pattern. It is really entertaining! We could have watched him for hours!

We also spent a full day at the Lincoln Children's Museum. It is awesome, if we may say so our selves! It is three floors pack full of fun! Ton's of hands on activities. Emma loves to dress up and perform on stage. She also enjoys the Dr. Office - it has lot's of babies that need health check up's. They both enjoy the face painting. Isaac loves the water area, the airplane, the gofer hole area with climbing rope and slide. They have a great toddler room, full of every kind of toy you can imagine! Ethan had a blast!!

Trip to Indiana

Happy St. Patrick's Day! & Happy Birthday Avery!

We had a wonderful time visiting Grandpa Brown! We also were lucky to be able to spend some quality time with my cousin Courtney and her children. (Caleb 11, Liberty 7, Ema 5, Avery 2)

I feel truly blessed for my roots. My grandparents on both sides of my family have had a great influence in my life. I look at the trials they passed through (war, The depression, losing loved ones...Through it all they have stayed strong and faithful.)

We visited with my cousin Kim and her daughter Paige. We saw Karen and her son Derek and his wife Toti and their daughter Alexandria. We drove out to my Dads grave site at Gardens of Memory.

Happy 19th Birthday Quentin!! We love you!

Love.
Brent, Celeste, Emma, Isaac, & Ethan

Ok , Ok So I have been getting some flack for not updating our family blog in such a long time. We are getting really excited for SPRING!! To feel the warmth of the sun, to spend hours outdoors, playing at the park, and just enjoying time together! We have planned a family spring break trip we are all looking forward to. We will be picking up Grandma Aleen at the Omaha airport. We will then continue driving on to Indiana to visit Grandpa Max Brown. We are looking forward to introducing Grandpa to Ethan, his great-grandson who he has yet to meet! I am so excited to hear stories of my Dad's youth. Grandpa is an amazing story teller! We are also hoping to make connections with my cousin Courtney Brown Jenkins and her family. Grandma Aleen will then return home with us and spend and extra 4 days with us which will include celebrating Easter and Ethan's 1st Birthday! What a great time!!
