Swimming Lessons
Emma, Isaac and Ethan have been taking swimming lessons through the Red Cross. They have loved it! They go Monday through Friday for two weeks, this is their second week. They have improved so much. Emma can float on her back and stomach all by herself and is getting pretty good at actual swimming by herself. Issac is doing really well also. Ethan blows bubbles in the water and is practicing his kicks.
Games, Games and more Games
Friday we had the Bishop and his wife over to play games. We were having so much fun we lost track of time and played until a little after midnight; when their daughter called looking for them, Oops! Time flies when your having fun!
Saturday we had our friends Jill and Steve Swenson and their three kids over for pizza and games. We played Ticket to Ride and watched a little King Of Queens one of our favorite TV shows. The kids all played and had a blast!
Sunday's are always very busy with church and meetings before and after. This past Sunday after church I helped in organizing the Presidencies, plus the missionaries, of each auxiliary to go out and visit some less active members. I put together some packets of information and after a brief explanation of our goal and expectations off we all went about 20 of us!We were able to accomplish so much! It was great!
Then Sunday evening we had the Bryan's(Neal and Kristine) over for dinner plus their 6 kids. So we had a full house! It was so yummy! It was a true Grandma Brown meal: mashed potatoes, with chicken in a chicken gravy with homemade noodles over the top. Plus broccoli, corn and homemade crescent rolls! mmmmmm...so good! Don't forget The chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and ice cream for dessert! After dinner it was more games till about 10pm.
So today - Monday afternoon, I'm pooped. I need to clean my house and I have no energy or desire to do so. Busy and so much fun! Hope your Summer is the same! Surrounded by friends, family and good times!

What a fun & Busy Weekend!
Hi Everyone! If your Summer is anything like ours it is zipping right along and going way too fast! We played a lot this past weekend. Or weekend began early on Thursday when a friend called and said he had four Salt Dog Tickets (That's our Minor league baseball team) and did we want them?! Well -YEA! So with only an hours notice off we ran to see the Salt Dogs! It was a lot of fun! Ethan was clapping and dancing to the music and entertaining everyone around us. The kids really enjoyed it! That is they enjoyed it until the fourth inning which was about 9PM and then they had had enough and it was time to head home. I hope it will be a memory they won't forget!
